Day 4 Update
Hi prayer gang.
We board up onto four different buses every morning to go to our
four different sites. See attached pics. We basically witness door to door in the
mornings. Some of those visits are
follow up visits from previous days. Then
we eat lunch at the church we are
serving...see pics. Lunch has always been good and a great time
with the people.
After lunch we do a variety of ministries...one is park ministry
where we use the puppets, band, drama, or ensemble. They have rotated to all four sites. During park ministry we draw a crowd and
share the gospel personally through our translators. The ratio of translators to our group is about
1 of them for every 2 of us. Great experience.
By the way, if you are wondering why I am using three dots a lot
and that I have not been using parenthesis or quotations...well...the keyboard
is all weird. I found an internet cafe
near the hotel. I have been using that
the last few nights.
Other ministries that we are doing during the day are school and
hospital visits, bible clubs for kids, and church services. All has been fruitful. I know everyone is exhausted right now. It has been non stop. I am beat down. But fulfilled and full of joy.
Tomorrow we are going to the bible institute and out for a nice
meal. Don’t feel like we are using your money
unwisely though...the nice steak will only cost like 5 bucks a pop.
One of the biggest blessings has been what God is doing in el jaguel. We have been
helping them plant a church. On Sunday AM
we had 20 people. Monday night we
had
60...Tuesday night we had 120! WOW! We have used some of the funds to rent a new
building for the church. God is at work!
Today I went to tessi
I need to let you know I may not post again until Friday
morning. We will not be in tomorrow
night until after
Please pray we will be healthy for the trip home. Some light colds have hit a few of our
students and adults...including me. Everyone
is still plugging away and not complaining. God has been so wonderful to us.
in Christ
