music led by the band, videos, drama, and a meaningful message. elevate is led by students, for students. Hang out at elevate before and after the service. The building houses a café, video games, pool tables, big screen, couches, and foosball.

Elevate Schedule durring the School Year:

High School elevate (9th - 12th grade) is on Sunday mornings from 11:03 - 12:00. The building will open at 10:30.

Middle School elevate (6th - 8th grade) is on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30. The building will open at 5:30 and close at 8:00.

Elevate Schedule during the Summer:

During the summer, both high school and middle school students come together for one elevate on Wednesday nights with special events after.

There are only three rules you are required to follow:

Stay for the service.
Show respect for the building, leaders, and others.
Avoid distractions during the worship time.

One01 groups are modeled after Jesus and his One01 group, the 12 disciples. At Liberty Heights each group is led by two or more friendly adults that love God. Time is spent on Bible study, discussion, and prayer. The groups become close and occasionally meet outside of church to hang out and have a good time.

Guys and girls meet separately grouped by grade level. High school One01 meets on Sunday evenings at 7:30 - 9:30 PM in Host homes during the school year. One01 will not be meeting during the summer.

Middle school meets at 10:45 - 12:00 AM in the Liberty Heights gym known as the Family Life Center (FLC).

e-teams give students the chance to serve God and others by using their spiritual gifts on a ministry team. Students are the Church of today and have been gifted by God to impact others.

Each e-team spends time in Bible study, prayer, accountability, and ministry together each week. High school e-teams meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Family Life Center. Middle school meets Sunday nights at 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

e-teams that students can join are:

 

Band	The band, "hypernykes" leads worship each week at Elevate. (Cd to be released May 2002.) This year will be the first year for a Middle school Band.

 

Drama	Drama team will use their talents as a valuable way to worship God and to help convey a message so people can visulize and relate to its theme. There are separate Middle School and High School eteams.

 

EAntics	The EAntics team is a "Special Team" for students that are outgoing and enjoy the weird and wonderful. There is one EAntics eteam for both Middle School and High School students.

 

ECrew	The ECrew is a "Special Team" that keeps the elevate building prepared for service. They also help with the setup and tearing down of special services and events. There is one ECrew eteam for both Middle School and High School students.

 

Ensemble	The Ensemble team is not meeting this year.

 

Inreach	This team minister to the needs of students who attend elevate though prayer and encouragement. They will also help connect new students into the elevate community. There are separate Middle School and High School eteams.

 

Multimedia	This is the team that runs elevate behind the scenes. They run all the technical equipment: sound, lights, powerpoint, video, and website. There are separate Middle School and High School eteams.

 

Outreach	Welcomes new students to elevate events and activities. Also, this team makes follow-up visits to first time students. There are separate Middle School and High School eteams.

 

Publicity	This team will minister though writing, advertising and creating innovative ways to communicate information to the public. There is one Publicity eteam for both Middle School and High School students.

 

Puppets	This team will use their talents to entertain audiences at elevate as well as other venues. There is one puppet eteam for both Middle School and High School students.

 

Service	This team will organize local service projects and focus on needs within our church and ministry. There is one Service eteam for both Middle School and High School students.
